As I drift into wonder land
visions of Sugar dance
upon the stage
The turkey roll
of ten's and twenty's
slide up and down the pole
of glitters bitter
reality of a Saturday
night of flight
on the wild side
Un-dressed Santa's
shakin' their jolly
of lust's folly
in folds of green
And red lip's delight
of licked, sipped,
and stripped with
girls named Trixie
Seasoned Meetings
and a Crappy
Hollow day

Sounds like someone is a little bitter about Christmas....are you the Grinch in disguise maybe???? Oh no, actually I'm the Grinch, I just looked at myself and realized how bitter and jaded I was and my cave is starting to look a bit heavy with objects I've collected from those bastard who's garbage dump. I get all their products real cheap. I get everything used and I am a stingy old bastard, young in the face, but old in the heart. And it's not three sizes to small, the fact of the matter is, I don't even have a heart. It's an empty hollow with pretty pink flowers rotting in their pots.
And my dog Max, well he knows his place and earns it well. I think Christmas is about spending needless amounts of money mostly on people you probably don't even like. Maybe we should just call it "I love you, here's a gift!" so that we only would have to give gifts to people we actually care about rather than some relative who's name eludes you.
Sometimes on the holidays I have been forced to meet relatives who cheer me on by my first name like we have been drinking buddies for years and I don't even know who the hell they are, but manage to make it through the night by saying "you" a million times in place of their name, which neither matters to me nor do I have any clue what it might be anyway.
They seem to have memories of me, so that's good enough to pass the time with.
But I do love the holidays in reality. Even if it is all about money and not about the faith that started the damn thing.
It was funny to talk about the Grinch though, I barely ever get to ramble on about one of my favorite literary and cinematic characters.
much love,
James

Now how did I miss this'un Muddy?
This is too funny. From the sound of the other comments, this must've been in a contest. I hope it did well lol. Thanks for the giggles. I have a few sarcastic remarks about the season myself...but for now I digress
This is adorable.

OMG Muddy! LMFAO! This is too damn much. This is priceless. What a great perspecitive on the image. I think the visualization I got from this piece was a bit too much. Undressed Santas
HA! Unique, fresh and clever and that closing stanza! Woot! I love it. Awesome piece

Ah, isn't exploitation wonderful. You know, as long as it keeps with the seasonal theme,
A good read as we head out shopping in His name.
