Woman Of The Pen

What can I say about
this woman of the pen?
That has not already been said
again and again.
The beauty of her poems
are timeless and proud,
The strength of her convictions
set her apart in a crowd.
Her sense of humor
is stinging yet dry,
The beauty of her sonnets
will set a grown man to cry.
The perfection of her form
are legendary at this site,
I can never find a flaw
try as I might.
One last personal note
to lovely Margaret G.
Keep your chin up girl
you are still younger than me!

Dear Doc, great discription of our Margaret, Her Sonnets are out of this world, one day I hope to be half as good as her, we're both working with the same Master, Hugh Wyles, I have a loooong way to go yet though. I see Yems up to his old tricks.
    Hugs Joan

Absolutely lovely! I wonder how she does to write her poems in that perfect way. Should we follow her and try to find out where she gets her talent potion?
Your words are very true and have that warm feel that friendship produces. A beautiful tribute to our beautiful friend.
Thanks Doc for bringing your poem to her birthday party!

I never met Goliath, but have you heard of the Colossus of Rhodes? He's gone.

Yep Yem I have heard of her hunting prowess,I did not however know of her skill with the flint knife.......I DID however hear that it was Margaret and not David who slew Golieth, but that is just hearsay....you know how the media blows these things out of proportion

She's seven months older than me!

You know, I can never find a flaw either. I'd read umteen of her stuff and I've never found a mistake. It's sort of creepy! lol.

Everything you said is true, I'll just sit back here and nod.

But about Margaret...did you know she lives in a cave? It's true. Why I don't know but She says she prefers it. She gardens with primitive tools and hunts with an old flint rifle. Not sure she wanted me to tell you that.

This is a lovely and true tribute and the characteristic humor at the end makes it even more endearing. Beautifully said!
