The clouds hide the sky
The black billows seem so dry
No one has seen the light in years
They are enveloped in their fears
Everything seems like its hopeless
There’s nothing to look at but a mess
Suddenly, a light shines through the dark
Blinding people with its brilliance and spark
How did this light get through?
Everything was silent, except for a cats mew
Everyone watched as the light slowly spread
Its warmth washing away all the dread
That this city had put up with for so long
These people, amazed that they were wrong
Were seeing daylight again
The plans of the evil men
Being torn apart before their very eyes
Gave the people of the city a rise
Children looked in wonder
As the sky filled with thunder
It was starting rain
Washing away all pain
From the heat of the day
No one was going to stay
Most people were amazed
Some were dazed
Was this some sort of hoax?
Lately, there had been lots of jokes
About the sun breaking the barrier
Which had made people merrier
But this was the real thing
Suddenly, a voice began to sing
A beautiful melody
“O sun, how beautiful are thee
The evil men of the world tried to hide you
But you denied them and broke through
You are amazing, that much is true”
Everyone watched as the clouds starting disappearing
As the sun started touching people, there was rejoicing
The evils of men had been defeated
The sun had vaporized the wall they created
