Happy Birthday Sweets, MargaretG

Happy Birthday Sweets, MargaretG

Here comes the wishes that you have your cheer
Atop a cake that's filled with sweet's delight
Prepare yourself for desserts to appear
Pronounced on the hour of your birth night
Yemesee holds the cake overflowing

Before Marigoes enters happily
In comes Hugh Wyles secrets he's knowing
Replete, Mary6, glows of a pixie
Through out the night well wishes are bestowed
Heralding the queen of sonnet's mistress
Dedicated pearls of pea's wisdom showed
Affairs of the evening start with finesse
Your carriage awaits a stroll in the park

Surprised by the glistening in the dark
Welcoming stars; you're held in the spotlight
Entertaining guests to royal treatment
Every bell rings resounding through the night
The night is still young, your friends a god sent
Samplette waltz's in a King on her arm

Memories your heart begins to store fulfill
A wondrous evening full of magic's charm
Revering hope only thought in your will
Giving your all to those in that are in need
A gift your friends deliver flows in streams
Reminiscing of love grown from warmth's seed
Elevating heights only held in your dreams
Tonight's your night to uphold your wishes
Giving of treats ever so delicious

lol! That's too funny. You have such a wonderful imagination and a jokester's heart. But, I'd never believe that Margaret can't write.

Yem, Yem...I'm not lazy, I was busy with Tess' birthday and wishing happy Thanksgiving to my friends
Mel, this is a wonderful poem. You and acrostics go so well together. I can see by Marg's reaction that you have succeeded on making her smile, and not only her, I'm smiling too. Your birthday wish is lovely and warm, and you have handled it with care. Thanks Mel for this delightful entry!

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
I was enthralled by your writing, Melissa, what a delightful evening you have planned for me! From start to finish, surrounded by friends and entertainments, not to mention luscious sweets, I will certainly have a wonderful time. Thank you very much for the lovely wishes. I love your rhyming, some very good ones here!

I'll back up everything that Yem told you. I too saw that poem which began like this:

    "A Kiteyn"

    Meow went the Kiteyn
    Who sat on a Miteyn
He sed, Eye new a walk
But he sed it in cat talk.

I too have tried to help Margaret, the poor dear.

Where is Mariza? Why hasn't she commented yet? What a lazy woman!

A double acrostic! I got nervous just thinking about it, but it is delightful. Your words will certainly touch Margaret. I thank you for entering it.

But I have a secret to tell you about Margaret. Did you know she can barely spell? I have it on good authority that her husband and kids do all of her writing. I once saw an unedited poem by Margaret and it was frightening. It was about a kitten, or as she wrote it, "Kiteyn." Very sad. Keep it quiet, we don't want to embarrass Margaret.
