To You, Father, I give this beautiful day;
not just this one, but all my days.
At the heavens I shall adoringly gaze
and to my Father sing all praise;
for You have given me another wondrous day:
not just this one, but all my days.
You've guided me through pain and each foolish phase,
and for this I must sing Your praise.
You've given me another glorious day;
not just this one, but all my days.
In each one, I move amidst Your Son's warm gaze;
and for that I must sing His praise.
To You both, I give these incredible days.

Coming close to death a number of times in my life, more recently due to a deadly brain aneurysm, has the ability to show us just what a miracle it is that God gives us yet another day. I choose to use all my days praising Him and His Christ, my Lord and Saviour! ~B♥nnieQ

Many of us have cheated death or have prolonged it at times, and I do think there is a reason for this - our time was not yet up due to there being something else God wanted us to do. Let's hope we do it. Lovely write, sentiments well expressed in these lines - easy to read and understand.

I have to agree with you-you definitely have reason to be thankful-you have made the Lord do double duty when it comes to taking care of you, lol. I'd say you were like the cat who has nine lives, but we all know it's something far greater than that that has sustained you each time. I'm so glad we still have you-you are precious in His site and in mine!! Lots of love~vj
