I was twenty-three once,
for just about a day.
Then before I knew it,
twenty-four was on the way.
My boobs were perky, tummy flat,
my buttocks nice and firm.
I loved to flirt with all the guys,
and watch them twist and squirm.
You're blessed with youthful beauty,
exactly the way I was.
Just wait until you near fifty,
and your face starts growing fuzz.
So have fun now, and don't forget,
in time we all grow old.
Happy Birthday Ashley Mosely,
enjoy each day as they unfold.

brilliant, again, Sam,
a wonderful gift to Ashley and another stunning poetic achievement that will do well in this contest, i should know better by now than to enter a contest head to head with you. I must again say you always outdo yourself, even when penning a birthday poem, each phrase so honest and personally poignant that i am sure this will win yet another trophy. Many blessings to you and yours for this week, ~richard

Oh, my, gosh! I just realized that this poem is also formed. . . into that "perky" shape. Awesome job, Sam!
I had to come back anyway because I forgot the applause!

Oh, Sam, this is the cutest birthday wish I've ever read! It's humorous and, naturally, exceptionally well-written: no surprise there, because you're quite talented.
Ashley definitely will get a kick out of this and so will her Mom. I know I did! Oh, but just wait until they get to my age: 61. Talk about fuzz and lines!
I earned 'em all.
Love and hugs, B♥nnieQ

HaHaHa!!!! This will be right up her alley-I can hear her laughing now. You hussy you-good thing you grew some fuzz-
(hey how do you get rid of that stuff? I've been noticing it,too-feel like a bear going into hibernation).
I love your Genie-I want one!!!!! Need to get me one of them magic lanterns and then he could bring me cake everyday and my face can grow bigger and I can grow more fuzz. I've decided growing old is for birds-I'm gonna put a stop to it!!!
Thank you for this delightful entry-it's sure to bring a smile if not a downright hearty laugh!!!
