From Which I Came

Echoing screams
Traveling through
Hollowed halls
Calling to me
Fighting the urge
Trying to escape
Moving shadows
Lingering about
Coldness takes over
Sucking me in
Spiraling deeper
Numbness sets in
No emotion left
Lost and alone
All doors locked
No place to turn
Unbreakable windows
Reflecting outward beauty
Locked away
Out of reach
Flames of hope
No longer burn
All is gone
Into the darkness
I fade back into
That from which I came

Wow! Now this is deep, I like the flow, and the line, unbreakable windows, like you can see through, but can't get out, nor on the other side..great metaphors hun, pen on...
