Sighing In Absence

Wrapped in a blanket
Shivering from the cold
Watching the screen
Reading poetry
My mind takes flight
With thoughts of you
Where are you?
What are you doing?
Are you thinking of me?
Are you alone like me?
Is someone there?
Why not me?
Deeper it delves
Carrying thoughts of you
So many questions
Not enough answers
Sinking back into my chair
Cuddled in my blanket
Wishing it were you
My mind spirals onward
Loosing myself to
Flashcard images of you
Longing for your tender touch
Wishing for your sweet kiss
Yearning for your warm embrace
Softly sighing in all it's absence

    Exquisitely Passionate

Yesss! This was magnificent! I felt transformed into your minds
imagination. There I could sense the agony and ecstasy of your
    enchanting moment.
I can totally relate to this eloquently expressed romantic
piece of artistry. I was completely enveloped like the blanket that sheilded you from the cold. Would that I were fortunate enough to be the one to warm and comfort you salacious yearnings!

Turning on the love poems! Yes, with love there is longing, wishing, neverending yearning, and of course, sighing... as well as great poems!
