My Soul Penning

Missing image
My Soul Penning

I hear the whispers of hope across seas
Though some small child's tears are haunting me
So many dying unnecessary
Is death the saviour of all tragedies
Life takes its toll on our long, winding roads
Arms won't reach around these weeping willows
I've given my heart to tears and sorrows
But seek the path of brighter tomorrows

I beg for mercy, but no-one hears me
My songs are of love, yet I'm still lonely
Many promises, I am yours only
Now pieces of perfect, shatter slowly
Maybe that's why death's glorified today
I long for peace where lion and lamb lay
With all good intentions fading away
I know of souls still willing to betray

Take my broken hearted words to your hands
Read me, bleed me, till my words sink like sands
How long must I pen, till one understands
Forsaken upon isolated lands
No worries, no tears, for I'll be OK
Just pondering how, my blue skies turned gray
I've acquired lessons taught yesterday
But still I believe love will find a way

Author notes

Life, each day I live, seems to change me...One way or another...these are some thoughts I jot, that do just that. Thanks for reading me, I appreciate you all! -Timothy

I strive to do the best, at least in my poetry, and I will continue reading your work. Hopefully some day, when I grow into an adult, I will have the wisdom of you my unknown friend.

\My heart weeps with these words you pen
So much hurt and sadness in your heart within
Know I am here for you, my wonderful friend
And nothing but love, I forever send
    \

    Dear Timothy,
I know that we all question the hurt that is buried with in our hearts. I do it all the time. Chris said to me one time not to worry about the things I cant change...For there is nothing I can do. I am really bad about bringing myself down because of things like this. But try to lift your head and your spirits, and you will see there is a brighter side to life. And I am here to help you find the sunshine in your darkest days.
    Hang in there my friend.
    Much love to you always,
    Tammy

    Beautifully Penned in Soulful Elegance.

    “My Soul Penning”
Stepping into your masterpiece soul deep
The beautiful poet within the lonely man
I want to save you from the haunting tears
I want to release you from the endless fears
As you Penn sorrow lingers near
You pray you realize in your heart
    “Love will find a way”
The eternal candles in the rain
    Lighting the Lords way
Your caring ways bring me peace
As we lay down with the lion and the lamb so meek
Here my friend is the place of eternal divine peace.
Beyond the gray skies is total love comprised
In the grace of his eyes, may our hearts be lightened
Our burdens easier to bear as we sing for all who care.
Namaste Blessed Be a song sung from the heavens tenderly.
    “Lord, teach us to pray”.

this is simply a beautiful and amazing poem. you showed such great emotion here and i felt it. this is one of those poems where you don't know EXACTLY what the poet is trying to say, and yet you undertsand it. and i mean that in a good way i love poems that do that. keep writing my friend, it could defintaly take you places!

Timothy, this is absoultely lovely, in its sad lament. Life is a journey that carries us through all kinds of emotional landscapes ... and for the most part, that journey is a lonely one Thank you for the beautiful words and thoughts this morning ... it gives me much to think about

A friend told me today that without experiencing pain, we are unable to truly be compassionate. I have felt your compassion first hand, and I know I am not unique in having felt the pureness of your caring. Perhaps there was a reason you have experienced so much angst. It was preparing you to be the kind and loving man you are today.

It doesn't mean love in its purest form is not meant to belong to you. It simply means that you may have to wait a bit longer so that you have time to touch the lives of many more who need you.

    Gorgeous piece Timothy...
    and much love...

    Wonderful

I hope in this case, love finds away. You are right life changes daily, and it's up to us to either take that change and embrace it, or walk away. I love this piece, it is becoming one of my favorites, (I read it three times). I truly enjoy the lines...

Take my broken hearted words to your hands
Read me, bleed me, till my words sink like sands
How long must I pen, till one understands

your words have hit perfectly on the ups and downs of life. heartbreak can't be avoided...ours or anyone around us. i too admire how you've blended the positive and negative so smoothly. ending on a positive note is inspiring though we may not always end our own thoughts in the same way.

The colours took so long to download I was on the verge of clicking off before all the candles finally appeared. And then it became difficult to read the text! This may be a case of technology overcoming verse.

    Perfectly Penned!

Wow!!! I've read alot into this, and I feel you were offering alot indeed for the reader to ponder on...But one sure though I shall walk away from this piece is realizing how you know just the right words to use to drive the point you're making home... This is pure poetry, an art that can't be taken away from such a talented weaver as yourself! Each time I read you, I leave a little more wiser, for you have that gift to give such wisdom, and I've learned that life is not fair, but you as shown above, live through it without giving up...and though you change here and there, your love is the rock to step upon when those sinking sands surround this everyday life...Keep being you, for I've said it more then once, I love, enjoy, and adore your poetry as well as the spirit that pens it within! I'll read ya laters sweetheart, much love to you and yours!

    your poetic pieces surely
