...waiting on the rain...

…waiting on the rain… 11/14/05
I'm just waiting on the rain to fall
Yea just waiting on the rain that's all
I'm tired of sitting here and crying
Yea this loneliness, it just ain't flying
These salty tears streaming down my face
Yea they're the only kind of rain I taste
I'm tired of waiting out this drought
Yea I'm sick of waiting all this out
I'm sitting here upon the ground
Yea I’m waiting on the rain to pound
I’m seeing no end in sight
Yea about to give up this fight
I’m just waiting on the rain to fall
Yea just waiting on the rain that's all
I’m tired of all this crying
Yea inside I feel like dying
I just want to feel the rain
Yea let if wash away my pain
Everything I see is dead
Yea and the sky is turning red
I’m watching the sunset
Yea just another day to forget
I’m waiting for this to end
Yea for something new to begin
I’m tired of waiting out this drought
Yea i'm sick of waiting all this out
I'm just waiting on the rain to fall
Yea just waiting on the rain that's all

sheila, that was amazing... I really really like that, it is my favorite poem of the ones you have written that i have read. I think justin is absolutely right also, the best poetry comes out when you have experienced pain and when you are in love both. This is a great poem, one that i would be very proud of if i wrote . I really like the repition also, it makes it more real when you say "yea" its not like that generic stereotypical heartbreak poem. Hang in there babe, just like justin i am here for you whenever you need me, always remember that! No matter what time it is, when it is, or what its about i will always be here. hang in there, i know its tough, love ya (as a friend)

she..this is...wonderful. i like the repetition...i think it represents your feelings right now..the same ones over and over again. its really good. it just goes to show that the best poets are the ones that have experienced true pain. but you know that i am always here for you when you have that alone-on-your-birthday feeling, and always remember that i have some glue. i know that you will be fine...i promise you that much. dont worry so much and just be yourself. someone else will come along!! love you much,

    Just
