Seasonal Spice of Life

Ice flows break and float away,
on a sunny winter's chilly day.
Purifying river in water's course,
collecting debris from it's shores.

Frozen banks of deep December,
I walk along with summer remembered.
Of the crocus in early spring,
sunlit days of you and me.

Picnics at the river's bank,
watching skipped rocks as they sank.
Lazy days of Indian colors summer,
now gone astray wrapped in winter slumber.

For every season there is a good reason,
nature repeat bestows blessings so sweet.
