I will not tell you who they were
or who they are, or who they’ll be
I’ll only delve into their souls
based on their latest poetry:
Whispered Love is stranded now
soaked in sultry humidity
how I feel her satin slip
fall away in the night
and pulsing, as our intertwined limbs
meet amid my fantasy.
suseann is giving thanks to all
through a season of the fall
wishing us all the best
with tables with their bounty blessed
thanks the Lord for such givings
yams and hams and tasty dressing
and, wouldn’t you know it, a carnivore
as she dwells on a succulent beast!
VampiressAngel oft in sadness
writes with longing, then of gladness
today she pens a fine acrostic
to her vampira mom;
with words like ‘precious’ ‘special lady’
‘inspirational’, today she
has her spirits lifted, but
tonight in the shadows walks!
FallenxAngel, new to me
leaves some hugs for xyz
who or what this is, I see
will forever remain a mystery!
Today she writes of love gone wrong
words that sing a broken song
filled with poison, dripping pain
intoxicating her memory.
Molly Densmore’s romantic flair
is giving way to kitty cats
yes, they’re cute, but besides that
now you have much to fear
unless you think a sniper rifle
is a kitty’s normal gear
or kitten labor on the farm
comes in cheap, so be alarmed!
Vinillalace oh so sweet
with that flavor… so you’d think!
Writhing pains of love and grief
creep deep inside her mystery!
Men come screaming, crawling, wanting
echoing like a symphony
she’s had enough, she drowns them out
until morning brings again release.
whispersoftly whispers to me
from across the deep blue sea
wondering if she has the strength
the strength to carry on…
her vacuum cleaner then takes to flight
carries her above her dreary town
then returns and sets her down
a smile on her face!
Catressa, a new sister of mine
beat her head on the keyboard for a rhyme
and from her last encounter there
came an abstract poem-
filled with noise, bitterness
visions, voids, a little niche
for her scars to hurt beneath
and all this from a sis so sweet!
Zonia wrote a Christmas poem
wishing the world all the best
I asked, ‘and something for you, my dear?’
She said ‘no!’ as though I jest!
Such humility, such modesty,
had torn a reply poem from me
in which I left something under her tree…
Malzy, an AP daughter of mine
(one of the first, so be kind!)
Is in a tumultuous period in life
some days she just sits and cries…
She'll be the first to graduate college, thus
will soon receive congrats from us
but right now she needs love from you
to help her heal, and make it through.

....LOL....Ummmm but then again im not one of the honeys.....huh.....its ok....ill forgive you.....I think your writing is very thoughtful and graceful.....wishful offerings of thoughts given to you by some wonderful poetess' and to think.....we could all feel the same things you express....I only know in my mind.....ive met some wonderful hearts here and they too inspire my thoughts and feelings expressed....sooooo.....wishing all the poets on your list....love smiles and happiness....all year through.....very touching write bro......wonderfully expressed with my admirations.....
