Wishing you all big and small in the Allpoetry halls,
a blessed Thanksgiving with all the trimmings.
Bless your harvest tables bounty in blessings mounting,
Give sincere thanks to the Lord for glorious givings.
Bow and hold hands round your tables in grace,
thankful to him for the feast on your plates.
Remember also to thank him for loved ones,
attending and for those not and off defending.
Pray for world peace without ills and hunger,
enjoy ham,yams,turkey,pies and tasty dressing.
Warm conversations round your holiday tables,
I'm wishing you all the best in holiday blessings.
It matters not if your feast is of succulent beast,
or mere humble partaking of your bounty's making.
Remember those too all alone sad and blue,
God's loving grace includes you,but all others too.

Now this really gets me in the spirit of Thanksgiving (even though I am always ready for the Thanksgiving holiday). It has always been my favorite holiday of the year. I guess because more of my family seems to gather on that day. I am very close to my family, and we always have a big shindig. I hope you have a glorious holiday and holiday season. Blessings to you and your family. I adored this poem (besides it made me hungry)

through a season of the fall
wishing us all the best
with tables with their bounty blessed
thanks the Lord for such givings
yams and hams and tasty dressing
and, wouldn’t you know it, a carnivore
as she dwells on a succulent beast!
