Absolutely love it...so much is said with the absence of words. I've decided Armageddon is going to be signalled by the arrival of a truthful politician !

I shortened this by one word - brevity being what it is.

Excellent epigram. It has two things that I like in an epigram sharp wit and a GOOD pun. Very well done.

Oh yes! Ashamed to say usually ignore contests in favour of what you called my 'network'. Not much time between the food, driving, other people's babies, etc (Yep, I'm just a girl who can't say no.....) BUT will check this one out, cos I'd like a man who stands as he lies...... cancel that - way too cheeky!! Maybe that could be the start of my epigram.....
