Anna sent a letter to dear old Santa
not a selfish girl is she,
she asked him to relieve the world's suffering
and a prayer for mankind’s eternity.
No more war, heartache, pain,
children without fears, all at play.
Such a big heart should be rewarded,
nothing for Anna on Christmas day?
She has hunger beat, love and joy
throughout the world, all are wise.
Her pleas are answered, the world is fine.
(now I'll leave Anna one little surprise...)
(wrapped in love, warmth and kindness
and set with care under her Christmas tree
so on Christmas morning, in a world so fine
I can give back to Anna what she gave to me!
