the birds now sing with joy.
The king of the skies has come,
rising from the seven seas.
We awaken with it's coming,
Oh! look at the bees, humming.
It's a fresh morning, fresh nectar.
It's a fresh beauty of life.
Look, the sun has risen.

The Sun Has Risen is my signature as my name "Udit" in hindi, means the risen sun. Don't doubt my attitude after you read this poem. I read this when I'm really down. Because I believe in the saying, your attitude determines your altitude.......this poem has been written with all modesty.

I really liked this. It's very honest, and your author's comments are awesome. "Because I believe in the saying, your attitude determines your altitude.......this poem has been written with all modesty."
I also like the rhyme of "We awaken with it's coming, / Oh! look at the bees, humming" and the repetition of fresh with nectar and day and beauty of life. All in all, this is a very nice, honest piece and a very good write.
Kudos, and good luck!

NoodleNoggin is right about "its". This is a good poem. Short and sweet and the message is clear.

Thanks for entering. Nice poem. Rather general. "We awaken with it's coming," should be "its" not "it's."
