Liquid gold
lemon drops,
shower down
Sun beams,
touching souls.
Memories blister
like salt,
burning wounds
cut deep,
tears fall.
Quietude dreams
caress hearts,
calm peace
nothing soother,
sleep whispers.

I see you found out what the contest was about and met with the challenge very well yourself. This was a challenge. I think I have always taken nouns for granted but after this I won't. You have wonderful imagery in this poem.

Very nicely done. And I was able to find any words I wasn't sure of --nounage-- on www.onelook.com/ . That link has been a very valuable utility during the contest since different dictionaries don't always include all definitions or reflect worldwide usages. I think you may be the first person to use --like-- and --nothing--
This is a very relaxing, dreamy poem. Thanks for enterring

WOW!! Terrific job!!! I thought about attempting this, but I honestly don't think I could do it!!! IF I was even able to, it would never come out sounding as smooth and elegant as this!!
This is truly amazing!!! Better scoot those trophy's over, I see another one coming your way!!!
