I saw her in solitude under a raining night sky.
She seemed solemn with a tear in her left eye.
Carried the young girl back to my empty, dark flat.
Not a word she spoke while in my soft, caring arms.
I pondered the thought responsible for her tears.
Had she been this lonely or sad for many long years?
This I cannot tell, but still, I move on.
Reaching my home, it’s dark all around,
So I flick on a light and lay her down.
She stares at me with tear-soaked eyes.
I wonder what she’ll say; I wonder what’s wrong.
Not saying a word, she rises from the bed
As I long for her thoughts, swimming through her head.
She walks to me, and gazes with glowing eyes
And says to me “what have you done?”
Confused, I knelt and touched her black hair
“What’s the matter?” I say. “Have I done you harm?”
And right then and there, I saw something I couldn’t conceive
Beautiful, white fangs slid from her gums.
I sat, horrified, staring at her horrid face
Before I had the chance to scream,
That little girl sank her teeth into my trembling neck
She wrapped her hands tight around my mouth
As she drank the thick fluid from my pierced vein
Dizzy & weak as I fell to the floor
As she kept sucking more and more…
Unconscious now, I lay here
Drained of life
Dying as… you listen
Don’t ever… be… fooled…
