the best part

If I could paint a picture of all the sadness in the world It would
be    
 of the tear drop in your eye, And people wouldn't buy it because every
time they looked at it they too would cry

If i could take a snapshot of all the loneliness and hate it would be of  
 the scars on your wrists, far to gruesome to put in an album but to sensitive to throw away, They don't know the difference between the two

If i could sketch a picture of all the Anger towards diversity it would    
 be of the bruises on your face. Purple, yellow and green, all the colors of the rainbow But how well you cover it up not on of them would  know

If i could bleep out all the painful scream in the dark i would have to  
 sew your lips together and comfort you while you shivered in the corners, they wouldn't mind so long as they could sleep at night

But if all the love were to be gift wrapped in a box and be given to      
  them i would have to cut you open and take out your heart giving up the best part of me.
