the way the moon fell and the stars glowed
just so
reminded me of all the things I've learned
along the way
as you sleep soundly feet away, your words
echo in my head

I am delaying the inevitable with lingering glances
looking for a way to freeze time
make it possible for you to stay
and as you dream in your little ball of viking glory
i wonder what is on your mind

out schedules butt heads
