She is hungry,

She is hungry,
her fat fingers
grabbing
all she can
get her hands
on.
she is hungry
devouring all inside
the vallet
including old
adresses.
she is hungry
her fat witness
it creating
earthquakes
around
she is hungry
and now watches
you,
leapes towards
and grabs
you

it is too late.

it seems to me this could just as easily be about some kind of societal state, like war, where you never know when something you have always known will just be gone all of a sudden - even you! it would be pretty similar to having something that just "eats up" everything in its path. either way, this is a great poem. id like to hear more about it. thanks for sharing.

    strange

This is a strange and very surreal poem which, if I interpreted properly, a deep and disturbing meaning behind it.

Could be about the Earth I suppose, but I have a feeling that it is about human society and how we are sucked into the more unsavoury aspects of it. I am probably wrong - but never mind.

Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.

As I read this, I just knew it wasn’t really about some fat chick that was eating everything. I think I get the meaning of this and I can totally relate to it and then some. But then again, I could be wrong, and it is just about some fat chick.
