Indication-
Defeated.
Friends scarce
Or judgemental.
Feeling like Job.
What have
I done wrong
Screamed in silence.
Nothing echoes
In the seeming
Night that has
Fallen on
Sorrowful
Shoulders.
Yesterday blessed
Abundance shared.
Friends plentiful
And full of
Praise for
Good names.
A moment's
Dusting of reality-
Poof!
Suddenly
Unclean in
The eyes of
Pontificating peers.
Your sin
Must be grave
Give us the
Scoop.
Digging deeper
Than a child
In a bucket
Of Ben and Jerry's.
Begging for
Dark despicable
Bones rattling
In closets.
Blind to their
Arrogance.
They fear my plight
Out of kindness
Or cruelty.
Has me wondering
Why the sparrows they
Hang around.
Yet faith
Makes haste
Sealing in
Its own form
Of comfort.
Purposeful
Mysteries aside
Simply refusing
The age old
Lie that had
Adam hiding
From his
Creator
And knowing
Even in the
Midst of
Overwhelming
Evidence
Of power failure
I have not
Been Abandoned.

Hope you don't mind that I enterred your contest. I don't belong to the group that you specified couldn't enter. Thanks for the inspiration

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. I am glad you took something from it. I was aware that the form would not entirely appeal to everyone. The choppiness was intended though. Sometimes, what I have to say is not necessarily conducive to eloquence
. Thank you for taking the time to read it more than once. It was really a great contest. I also much enjoyed reading the other entries.

This is very meaningful and profound. The only issue I take with this is the form. It makes it very choppy, and I think this should flow more smoothly to deliver the full impact of the message. As it is, you have to read it more than once for it to fully register. Other than that, it was a great write.
