What Poetry does For Us

to moving my fingers and my toes,
makes me more able to see
what gives, what comes and goes.

Poetry to me is being duped,
distracted when I've things to do,
when my litter must be scooped
and money made, cause I'm no fool!

Shack Cat
Poetry to me is dreamland
with which I sleep all day.
Poetry, -- I do not understand,
but pretend to to get my way.

Fat Cat--
I like girls, young women, and older.
I use poems to soften them up.
Poetry helps me be bolder,
And covers up when I mess up.

Scat Cat
I can't read, so I donno.
Now I know that I must go
and finish up the ditch I'm digging,
or I'll forget the frigging place where Scat was at....

Your cats do seem to have a lot of personality. My cats are okay. I love them all, but I have too many. So Fat Cat is a womanizer. That's my kind of cat. Thanks for inviting me to read these.
