Floating Bobbles On High

Faces floating up on high,
Mercury himself passing by.
Angels wings and billowed sails,
great tall ships and puffy snails.

Cotton candy sweet as sugar,
marshmallows racing motor scooters.
Dark gray eyes peer down on high,
great white dumplings floating by.

Mountain peeks across horizons,
covered in snow caps mesmerizing.
Great Indian Chiefs in full headdress,
Steam engined trains speeding fast.

I've looked at clouds from high and low,
from pure illusion white clouds flow.

This reminds me of when I was littler and I would see things in the clouds, and point them out to my friends laying next to me. Once they finally saw which cloud I was pointing at, they would tell me what they saw (which was normally something completely different ). This made me want to go outside and do that again. If only it wasn't raining. This also had beautiful imagery.

    clouds that cradle our minds

I still look at clouds this way, was a calming prose, the feeling of laying back on green grasses and looking at all those shapes , so we all see them don't we , wonderful to read, a mellow glow to the mind , soft weave , a feather's touch to the soul .

This reminds me of an older popular song "I've looked at life from both sides now, from win and loose and still somehow..."
That's all I can remember right now. lol This had a whimsical rhapsody type feel to it. The picture set the mood for this perfectly. Best wishes in the contest!~vj

Great poem Suseann, Its amazing the inspiration you drew from clouds and all the different reflections you pictured. Clouds can be really awesome I also like the sunrise or sunset seen.

Very nice suseann. I remember as a kid laying on my back and looking up at the sky and finding all kinds of things. Of course as a kid, I always seemed to find unicorns Wonder if I just made them up because I wanted to see them so bad Oh and I also saw Pegasus (sp) too Good job and good luck in the contest.

Oh, very nice one. I think the most commanding sight of clouds is from above, in a plane. My god, they are beautiful then.
