Love is like a rainbow
whose colours shine within,
each tint a new sensation
that tingles 'neath your skin.
In red, we feel the passion,
intensely deep and strong.
Yellow is the joy we feel,
a warmth, when we belong.
Pink is softness,sweet,sincere,
the glow we feel inside;
though jealousy and envy
is the green that we must hide.
When placed upon a pedestal
and treated like a queen,
the love we feel around us
is encloaked in violet sheen.
Orange is the laughter
that fills our hearts with mirth;
though if we part, blue is the tint,
as you feel alone on earth.
At the end of every rainbow
there lies a pot of gold,
a treasure every lover shares
as together they grow old.

Eflin, this is a pretty little pice I enjoyed the feel of colors that you described, I do see some colors. But I don’t see the difference between most colors. Hence this contest, I want descriptions that entice the mind as well. Wonderful job and I will read some more of yours as I said I would in the rules, ….
