Joyous by nature I try to be
Open and honest for all to see
Young at heart I've decided to stay
Choosing carefully the words I say
Everlasting love it is the way

herrbench, Thank you very much for the lovely words, I do try to remain humble as I know I am not the greatest of writers.
I do love the acrostics myself, they intrigued me from the start. Love and blessings for you, today and always.

Nice. Very nice. Always been a fan of the Acrostic. And you've written a poem about yourself that manages to be positive without being arrogant. Good job.
-

Kitty, Thank you so much for the applause and such a wonderful comment. You're just saying that to butter mom up, what are you looking for a raise in allowance. LOL
Just kidding and you know that.
I'm humbled by your words Kitty.
You just made me
trying to get the red out now.
You are just as beautiful and I am not exaggerating when I say that. I do know what my daughter looks like and her inner beauty is just as great.
Lots of love, Mom

You always fill me with so much praise, it is very inspiring.
I am humbled by what you and a few others have said in regards to me. In fact it makes me
I don't wear makeup so that will make my cheeks red enough. LOL

Navdeep, You don't need to apologize. I know you have been busy and the fact that you moved and had no net for a while.
Thank you so much for the applause and the lovely compliment you paid me in your comment. I'm so sorry to hear that you were sick.
Glad you are better now though.
Funny you mentioned Joy, that was almost my name when my parents brought me home from the hospital. LOL
I must have gotten to crying or something and they decided I wasn't such a joy after all.
Thank you again so much. You are the bestest.
We only had 8 children show up at the door for Halloween, guess we will be eating a lot of candy for the next week or so.
Love and blessings to you my friend. So happy you are back.

I hope I will see your name in this too.
Thank you also for the best wishes, they are greatly appreciated. Love and blessings to my extended family.

Bravo, sis! You've described yourself exactly how I pictured you.
Loved the acrostic of your name! The rhyme and flow was perfect. Have you entered the contest where you write a poem about how you got your AP-name?
Good luck in this contest, Joyce!!

LOVELY
Sorry, sorry, sorry!!! Sorry for not commenting on your works for such a long time. I was just too busy initially and right now, I've just recovered from a dumb fever. But here, I'm back again.
So, that's an acrostc for yourself? IT'S PERRRRRRRRRFECT! A rhyming one at that! Awesome! And lemme just add one more thing, not to the acrostic but just something from my side: Joyce is the one who brings JOY to all.
Not really clever but still, that's what my overtaxed brain made up.
Keep writing and here I go to check out your other new creations.
P.S.: How was your Halloween? 'Bestest'?
