Starhiker is my AP-name,
you wonder whence it really came?
This is the story, and it's true,
it is not taken from the blue.
I am a Star Trek fan by heart,
you understand whence came first part?
Hitch-Hiker's Guide was my first book,
and from it I then "hiker" took.
I never knew that it would fit,
like hand in glove it seemed to sit.
I am a Starhiker for good,
I walk the stars, misunderstood.

Hi, Shirley! Nah, I don't think Kirk would have let me aboard, as my alter ego is John Pike, descendant of Christopher Pike, the first captain of USS Enterprize. That is why John Pike has his own ship, as you will see in the poem named John Pike.
Thanks for the comment.

Starhiker.. a hike and a trek.. pretty much the same thing.. though somehow I can't see Cap'n Kirk stopping to let you on board the starship. I dunno about Picard though.. he seems a bit more easy going eh?

good
Well going by this poem, my little offering, which is still in the making, was bang on target.
The only exception is the last line:
"I walk the stars, misunderstood." - no Viking ever walked
Good poem though, flows pretty well and is self-explanatory. I shall applaud it - so there!
