Anger
What would you say
to a cup of tea
on a Saturday afternoon?
Does not matter
tea cannot hear.
It just sits and steeps
like an angry man
waiting to be consumed.

I suppose it does, really. Don't really think about it like that, but a very good point
. Silly but very true. I don't know if it's philosophical, or jocular in meaning, but can be taken as both hehe

Wow.
I love how this made me think of an angry man because I connected it mostly with the "tea cannot hear" because an angry man cannot hear. OoOo very very lovely.

I disagree with Christopher Harder. This is perfect. It paints an image. Well done and good luck

You've painted a detailed image upon my iris with this short poem... I like the metaphor you've also embedded with the words, very well done
I’ve also noticed you are new on Allpoetry, so allow me to welcome you on here with open arms
aware of the fact that this site is quite a labyrinth, where you easily can get lost in
but I have no doubts about the fact you already managed to find your way through it
