Halloween fell dark earlier that night
As footsteps slowly following me up the hill
My heart started to race like a black cat incite
I was paralyzed with fear on the sill
As the swallow caught terror in my eye
Her graves opened to the skeleton dance
And the bats sit perch for a feast
Of a cold air witch larks her fog from trance
To the full moon shine so brightly of a beast
Welcomed in transformation chill
Upon the innocence awake psychosis
A transformation left in tomb her crow shrill
Upon the skeleton in blood hypnosis
Awaited one night of the year
Suddenly my fear diminish
Awaking of fright although this night clear
Staged in eerie smell finished

great
nice poem...enjoyed your writing...noticed we have the same name - only spelled differently... -
Kendhal22, again without trying at all to check the poem, the comments reveal that it was in was in another contest. The first time, it is possible you were simply not reading the rules and entered a prewrite that had been in another contest. This time, however, I know that you entered this knowing that it broke the rules of my contest. I find that insulting that you would do so again, especially when it is right there in the comments. I will remove this poem, and please do not enter this contest again because you have broken the single definite rule I have twice.
The poem is good with nice imagery, although it could definitely use some editing to word it just a little better. Also, "following" should be "followed."
