give us a glimpse of heaven
in the midst of our daily seeking.

just a little ditty to perhaps bring a smile into your life.
What a blessing our pets are.
This is a picture of my 2year old golden Chowder and little Patches sleeping on my couch so peacefully! For those who have been reading my poetry, dear little Patches has never returned home.

Sweet and I'm still praying!
Hi dear friend, Joanne!
I agree with the sentiments here, especially after "my little miracle" appeared. They mean the world to me. If ever we lose faith in the love He has for us...all we need do is look in the eyes of unconditional love in our pets, and it can be found there for certain.
I keep praying and praying for you and Patches, Joanne....I hope with just love, patience and prayers that you get your answer soon.
I am glad to see you are doing something. It helps you feel just a teeny less helpless.
Please let me know if you find out anything.
Still praying!
Blessings to you.
Much love,
~Kitty {{{{

The picture alone is worth the! I'm sad for you knowing that Patches hasn't made it home yet. If somebody else saw her, they wouldn't be able to resist her I imagine. Everytime I put a collar on one of my cats, eventually they come home without. I don't know what it is about the outdoors-but everytime-sooner or later they wiggle free of it. I used to put bells on their collars to warn the birds they were approaching. I wonder if Patches slipped loose of hers. I bet she is being well taken care of wherever she's at, but the Lords knows your desire to get her back and I pray she by some miracle gets back to you. I have friends with incredible stories about how they were reunited with their animals when even I couldn't believe it would happen. Nothing is too difficult for Thee, O Lord (like the song)
Sweet Pixiku!!! I pray blessings your way~vj -
Loverly
Aww I love haikus!! And this poem is so cute, I love my pets more than I could possibly say. They treat me so much better than people do! This was a great subject, keep it up! -
Excellent Truth
Oh, Joanne, I am so sorry about Patches. I know how you feel, for I would be devastated if my ferrets Cocoa or Princess were to disappear. As it is, I've been working hard to keep Cocoa alive with a special formula I developed years ago. While I knew it would cure things like distemper, I wasn't sure how it would perform with Cocoa's cancer. Well, he was supposed to be dead within 2 weeks and it's now been over 2 years since that time!
Pets are such a blessing, that you have nailed right to the wall; after all, from them we learn what truly is unconditional love: the love of God. There is an OT scripture declaring, "Let all creatures that have breath praise the Lord." Well, I told Cocoa and Princess about it and they've been obeying His Sabbath ever since! Animals understand far more than humans think they do; for they do exactly what the Lord expects them to do: nothing more and nothing less.
Excellent, my precious Joanne! As usual.
Lots of love and hugs, B♥n

aaawwwwww.....
can i keep 'em?!? -
I love animals too. Especially the little ones.... They are also creations of our Lord. As soon as seen one (dog, kat, chick, rabbit, goat or whatever) I like to take them home and take care of it. We have had already had all the kinds I have mentioned. At the moment just a dog and chickens. I enjoy watching them or playing with them. It's fun.

Lovely poem is that your kitty in the picture?
I am sorry your kitty is still missing I do hope
she turns up...(((((((hugs to you)))))))Love,Sherry -
Thank you so much. I have put up flyers and sent her picture to the shelter in town. I ran an add for the first week. I'm thinking of running another add with a "reward." I think someone has "adopted" her even though she had a collar with her name address and phone number. Somehow I just can't let go of her. I'm praying that she will be found like you found your dear puppy. What a sad world we live in where puppies and kittens are stolen (or borrowed). God bless you and thank you again. Our pets are such precious gifts and truly show us how to love and live unconditionally. - joanne

Dear Lord please bring Patches back
Oh my... Is this Patches in the photo? This really touches my heart. I have lost a pet before. A found ad was put in the same paper that my lost ad was put into. A dog stealing ring claimed my dog then called me to claim reward. The OKC police went with me to claim my dog and the story took up half a page in the newspaper with my and my dog, Firessa's, photo. Be sure to check all the shelters (No Kill Shelters too) and check the paper for found ads and post fliars but NOT with your name and all the identifying features. For instance the way I knew my dog was the dog person found was because person who found her saw plastic ring for price tag on new collar I bought my dog. Have more than one person with you when person who found returns pet as you just have to be so careful now. I used to love to match lost owners with their pets. I have attached a prayer to this comment that by day's end tomorrow you have Patches back.
Be Blessed Abundantly
P.S. Most Newspapers are online now to look at lost and found pet ads or you can call Newspaper or library. Your kitten could have been in a found ad 2 and a half weeks ago if she has been gone 3 weeks. Shelters should have number of organizations that help find pets free if your city has one. Call and ask. If a shleter says kitty was adopted ask them to do a check up call to see if person still wants kitty as sometimes people get a pet then wish they hadn't and might be happy to return to you. Calico is not the most popular color so likely shelters would remember if brought there. Again, remember to call no kill shelters too. Fear not though as USUALLY kitties are adopted. The most adopted pet is kittens, then puppies then small dogs then cats and lastly large dogs.
