Life is for living that's what I say,
I stress to make it through every day,
But when you slow down and look all around,
You see what is there but you haven't yet found,
Vivid colours and details,
Beauty everywhere,
Don't you find time,
To stop and stare?
The green of the leaves of new foliage in spring,
The brightness and texture of everything,
Birds soaring past so carelessly free,
You hope that one day that's how you will be,
The sun reaches it's arms,
Stretches warmth all around,
You admire the clouds,
From where you are on the ground,
You imagine yourself one day floating away,
Joining the stars, disappearing in space,
In life all you seem to ever do is rush,
When you appreciate nature you realise so much,
You discover something new,
Hidden inside,
A love for this world,
A heart full of pride,
As bad as your life may seem on one day,
Don't forget to try and discover a way,
Find a way to make it through,
Find a way to reincarnate the old you,
Don't take things for granted because nothing can last,
Don't hurry through life - don't go so fast,
Be bedazzled, bewildered, stunned and amazed,
Be happy, be free, get caught in the craze,
Don't forget to make the most of each day,
Life is for living that's what I say.
