I do believe I have seen you before
wrapped in a dream of molten gold
Your smile spread like wildfires
Slow with heavy mood
as you whispered flames in my soul
My heart stilled and blood thickened
the sudden silence pounding in my ears
as I watched you glide listlessly
across the reflective wooden floor
lethargically cinematic
Your hair was a pitch cascade of lust
swaying about your shoulders
you flashed your porcelain bullet smile at me
out of the corner of your eye
every bit the debonair devil come to corrupt
My love fluttered a silent hello
inevitable adieus momentarily lost
in the blackened foreground of
blinding attraction
I do believe I have seen you before
If only in my dreams.
