My sister
takes her time, pausing

I can feel where your aiming. It feels so much like a child's heart. Discovering the awe of every wonder.

    heavy

What a beautiful sentence. This terse description of your sister carries much more weight than it physically looks capable of. "[A]s if it were God" strangely, to me, (and wonderfully) seems to imply a similar thought, "as if she were God" and is appreciating and exploring each stone as if it were something more than just, a stone. (I think, maybe she's an artist.)

reminds me of something but i can't think what. i picture a giant picking up tiny people, smiling at them and then crushing them. or..maybe a 2 year old playing with ants. very zen in an american way.
