Is found in clouds and starry skies above.
Great pillows blown in varied shades of blue,
Small lights that pierce the cold with vibrant view.
Each day they wash my heart with peace anew;
Their beauty hails a lasting, deeper love.

Author notes
There are two things that always make me stop and gaze in wonder- beautiful cloudy days, and dark starry skies.
I love to look at the many shapes and colors of the clouds. The other day, for example, I was driving home, and there was a cloud collage in the sky, with several different shades of blue all around each other- it was absolutely lovely.
And, in the morning when I go to work, or late in the evening when I come home, I love to look up at the stars, and see how many constellations I recognize.
And my God made them all- that's the real beauty of it.

You know when we look up at the stars at night, I think-these are the same ones that Abraham saw and other great men of the Bible and it gives me goosebumps to realize the connection.
I love your poetry-it all points back up to the Creator. This was no exception-beautiful job.

I prefer to write in forms and rhyme- I think it takes a certain discipline, as well as gives a challenge, which makes it a delightful art. Besides- basic prose can be quite wishy-washy!
Just writing it makes me want to sit outside.
