Author notes

This poem is also a Cryptogram.  Each letter means another letter, for example A might mean Y, B might mean D and so on.  You solve these by trial and error or finding clues like double letters and contractions. They are TONS of fun.

    So twisted, puzzling, a true challenge
    wrack your brain, come on in, take the plunge.

    Open your mind, unlock the secrets
    dig deep, find cryptograms in couplets.

    Ciphers spinning in your mind make you dizzy
    sit down, breathe deep, a moments rest, you're ready.

    And the letters are some new and foreign language
    nonsense squirms on the page but hold fast, have courage.

    Find clues, solve the mystery
    oh cyphers, how we love thee.
