The Sunset
Minds rise everyday from ideas new,
Some lost , some forever kept,
They proudly glitter, they proudly shine,
But only once sure to set……
The time shining so bright,
That knowledge sweeps the oceans depth,
But once the zenith of light is reached,
Its time for the eternal sunset.
The sun rises from the beaten ground,
And reaches the heights of fame and light,
But change and death are inevitable,
As the gorgeous path to sunset.
Passion and love burn to cinders,
Beyond body, in our soul and heart,
But not parted with they are useless,
As purposeless as tears after the sunset.
Within the one light pardoned on us,
We hurt , love ,cry and faith forget,
But to heaven or hell , it is the same,
That we all cease with a glittering sunset…….

"Within the one light pardoned on us" speaks of a single journey through life. Karma, in Hindu belief bestows a chain of lives to a Soul in order that they may achieve those lessons that will balance their Divinity. I appreciate your entry...Blue
