Libertine lifestyle

joke about the times we had,
laugh about the experiences we share,
the pubs we drank dry,
bared from posh bar Boltz,
scrapping with pool ques in our hands,
smashed bottles in pockets,
lines in the toilets,
the libertine lifestyle,
could only last for a little while,
free to be what we wanted to be,
broke on and on the dole,
we'd be exactly what we wanted to be...

running round the streets,
tanked to the eyeballs,
grams in pockets and powder in noses,
we were the boys who ran the town,
but now your the chiefs clown,
in the pocket of the biggest joker,
no longer do we run-a-mock,
sit sipping pints,
in an old boys pub,
all you need now is a fucking pipe!
slippers on and early nights,
what happened to the bar brawl and fight...?

its not over for me,
i'll find me another town,
no early nights and slippers,
breath in my mouth and out the nose,
try to supress the anger that grows,
but with red eyes the feeling shows,
im going to break another fucking nose,
pool ques and broken bottles,
lines in the gents,
im a nice guy really,
its just the libertine lifestyle,
i want it to last for a lifetime!
