Dancing unclothed in starlit sky; four girls
Chant 666, calling upon Satan’s grip to help
Brew their witchcraft, which they hope is success.
Betty - the Reverends daughter; caught in act
From last night’s impure evening of excitement; Morning rises,
She rests in bed; brain dead from an evil spirits touch.
Her father; focused on prayer, to whom? - Himself.
“My God, what will the townspeople think of me now?
Please help my daughter somehow and now,” in terror he screams.
“Uncle”, says Abigail, unsure of what will be done or said,
She sees rage in his eyes; as he demands answers from the night before, from what he’s seen.
She pleads nothing of the kind; for what he claims to be true was more of a dream,
“We were only singing and dancing naked. No devils were seen, or called upon,” she says innocently.
Arguments begin -
From past events Along with now,
Frustrated with her lies;
He leaves the room,
Becoming aware of;
What he wished to remain secret, has became town news,
With the remaining question, because of false words
How high has she flew,
While alone in the room with Mercy and Betty; Abigail shows her true colors,
“Last nights event is not to be told truthfully; we were singing and dancing naked.
Nothing more is to be said”
Betty – Her dream to fly with her mother;
She rises from bed, and climbs to the window,
Saved before her escape -
John Proctor enters the room,
Attracting Abigail’s eye,
Tall and buff; she remembers his betrayal sin.
Sweat ran down his temple, the grasp against her back;
She still loves him.
For as it’s –
Quiet, it becomes crowded again;
Calm silence fades; and fights erupt through the room.
For witchcraft settles the answer of this issue
For all the signs of unnatural causes,
Blame is placed upon familiar faces.

We just got done reading the Crucible in my American Lit. class. Its a really good play. I agree with tattoo, its a very funny movie. I had to control my laughter throughout the whole thing. As for the poem, its very good. I doubt I could write something like this.
