As day turns to night
My longing grows
Loneliness takes over
And tears begin to show
Another night alone
No one to embrace
Just a cold pillow
Pressed against my face
Break of day comes
Alone once again
Will the torture of
My loneliness ever end?
I curl into a ball
Like a wee lil baby
Hoping that one day
Maybe, just maybe....
I'll find a love
Like no other
Bound to me
Always and forever
He'll be tender
And he'll be sweet
He'll know me well
And even understand me
He'll buy me candy
And send me flowers
On a rainy days
We'll sit cuddling for hours
He'll know my passions
And fill my desires
His kiss will ignite my soul
And set my body on fire
He'll stimulate
My mind, body and soul
Even perhaps one day
Take me to have and to hold
For this I dream
Someday to make reality
And have someone that is
Just perfect for ME!

What a stunning poem and written with such vivid imagary and wording. This is really a great write and kept reading from beging to end in rapture. That is so true hon... and it includes not only the love we give to others but also the love that we have for ourselves. When we learn to love ourselves as the creative loving creatures of the universe, then we watch ourselves unfold into the beautiful gifts we are and then we can pass that love on to others as well.

It lifts my heart to know yet another has found the love that so longed for. My faith in love is near gone though I am holding on tight to that last lil bit.

Yeah I always dreamt of this too, and you know what, dreams definately can turn into reality.. I found my perfect someone. And what a wonderment love is. This is a great poem, I love the way it flowed and the imagery is devine. Hold on Í'm sure that lucky someone is just around the corner..
