When I sit down at the piano
and put my fingers on the keys
I'm able to sink into my world
where I'm forever free
Whether I play Bach or Beethoven
maybe a Christmas song here or there
everything is music to my ears
i no longer have a single care
Music is sometimes my escape
out of my boring daily life
when i play, i let it all out
all my confusion and my strife
Even throughout the day
the songs play through my head
and the times i have to concentrate
are the times i always dread
For the songs won't seem to leave
they play and have no end
it seems i have them memorized
its the beginning of a trend
The time i really love the most
is when i can just sit and play,
my brain runs through the music
and i just think about my day
We're always rushing everywhere
theres never time to stop
my thoughts all bundled up
are finally able to drop
Music lets me sit and think
and has helped me to see
that if you really love something
it will help to set you free

Wow...darlin you have once again amazed me with your works. you're a wonderful poet. My my how I loved many lines in this work but I'd have to say the best lines in my opnion are:
