never forget again

I forgot to tell him I loved him. He died.

Author notes

My confession. It is one of the things that drive me I guess; and i will never forget again.

    WONDERFUL

THAT IS POWERFUL. SO FEW WORDS - YET YOU ONLY NEED A FEW. THIS HIT HOME VERY MUCH INDEED. ALWAYS TELL THE ONES YOU LOVE, THAT YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT MAY BE IN STORE. THIS IS WHAT I WOULD CALL A 'WAKE-UP' CALL, TYPE OF PIECE.

Such a powerful statement in so few words. Quite stark and shocking. Very well done.

This must be so painful to live with! When my step-dad got in a motorcycle accident, I didn't visit him at the hospital. Everyone thought he'd be fine, and things between us had never been too good. He died, and that sticks with me as well.
At least you've found a way to learn something from it,
your comment "I'll never forget again" is haunting, but it leaves me with hope for you.
