Dearest Mom

Dearest Mom, I love you very much; your
Simple ways with love in all you touch.  I
Often think of all my grown up years, and
You're the one that wiped away my fears.

Dearest Mom, I never could express, how
Meaningful your fine example's been.  Your
Simple ways, and heartfelt sincerity,
Love you shared, so incessantly,
Kindness, even towards your enemies.

You taught me every value I've lived and learned, the
Essence of your love I have not spurned.

Returning kindness to ones enemies is a sign of the strong. It is an act scarcely understood in this ignorant world that doesn't understand much of anything. But to those who are capable of grasping the true value of such matters, it leaves an impression on the mind and heart that lasts throughout life. My father was like that. I am just sorry that I began to understand the power of his mind only after he had passed away. Thank you for creating and sharing. I am glad to have been on this page to read and ponder. Take care,

    A beautiful...

and gorgeous write penned to an incredible mother of inestimable value...she and you must both be thankful for each other from the bottom of your hearts. Clearly you have already been blessed, so may He continue to bless you even more so, dear one.

Why not go ahead and arrange the stanzas? or get playful with the word placement?

This is quite touching and very exquisitely worded. Great flow also. Though, I find every poem about Mothers says the exact same thing, it is what they do and it is what should be voiced poetically. Excellent work.

I am sorry dear, I cannot see this, the colors are too close together for my tired ole eyes, perhaps you can bold them or make them more easily readable, I would love to read this.
