Dead Heart Beats

Your dead heart beats
and you can't see your wrong
so long
just leave, get out
and don't come back.

Solitary confinement
with a pen and paper for friends
when will it end
the ink runs across the page
like blood pours from an open wound

I can't move on
until you are gone.
sitting watching,
as hours go by
I want to die

I'm in a never ending nightmare
tell me how to escape
getting drugged up, fucked up
I can't go on.

I've got a date with disaster
my razorblade romance
getting dressed up, messed up
with blackened eyes
a fake disguise.

smiling on the outside
dying within
drowning in people
I want these demons to be gone
before I end up six feet under.

Wow. Wish this really is a song. I do believe that you should maybe come up with some beats to this and send it here. Something of that sort. Either way, great write. Very emotional. Great flow, I agree with "w h e n". Good job, keep it up.

I saw this in an ad for the work, and I'm glad I took a look at it. If I remember correctly, you said it was a song..? Maybe I'm wrong, but if on the off chance I'm right, I would love to hear the music along with the lyrics. And if I'm wrong, I think it would sound great as a song
