it's been a long time, since i've cried
the tears well up in my eyes
i grip her hand to stop the pain
his memory's all that remains
the broken faces look away
as he is lowered in his grave
the flowers drop into the tomb
she drifts away draped her gloom
the picture lies in her hand

she slowly waves and walks away
