Titanium Knight Rider
I wonder why, my friend
You look at me with those Kooky spectacles
What are you saying with that silly grin?
I sit and ponder
Gazing at you against the emerald bin
Tell me, Knight Rider
How many places have you been?
Knight Rider,
How many terrain have you covered on your race?
Riding like thunder
On life’s hazardous highways?
Have you carried many warriors on your back?
Have you flown in rapid speed down any mountain?
Have you crossed many covered bridges and have gotten off track?
Tell me, Titanium Knight Rider, have you ever travelled through the rain?
And now, my silvery friend, your journey has come to its end,
Now sit you there deep in memory
Try to rest, my weary friend!
In your weary eyes I have read your Story.
Is this your final journey?
Gazing at you, I ponder
Is this the reason you are grinning up at me
Asking me to write your memoirs!

Author notes
Gazing at a bicycle lying near a green bin against a wall of the Churchill Hospital it inspired me to write a poem. The two wheels of the bike reminded me of a pair of spectacles.
