To Love You
As I look at your smiling face
I know how much you love me.
Looking into your trusting eyes
I wish I could love you that way.
At first our love was the same.
I could look at you and know
that you were the one I wanted.
But somewhere something changed.
I wish I could feel the way I did before,
I know it would hurt if I told you.
I think you know deep inside that
I just don't love you like you love me.
I will stay with you until the end
to make your life happy and fulfill your needs.
It's how it should be between a man and his wife.
And so you don't know, I'll try to never let it show.

Hmm.. This poem makes me think. I don't think that people should be together if they really aren't truely in love. Than, it's just a waste of time when you could be out enjoying your life with someone else and having a lot of fun. Life is too short to just be with someone just to make them happy. That's just not right. If things have changed in a marriage, than that's something that needs to be dealt with, no matter what happens though, you should never love your husband or wife any less than you did on the day you got married or something is just wrong and you shouldn't be married in the first place. I hope everything works out for you. You know if you need me to talk or anything like that, I am here. I look forward to reading more of your poems! Nice write! You always write awesome poems!

Wow! The poem was a good write to read and it reminded me of the relationship of mine and my girlfriend that is gradually falling apart.People are reluctant to show or share their troubles, it is good to know that I'm not alone in this...Loneliness in relationships.I repeat,this was a marvelous read, I enjoyed every second of it.
