Hopefully

Your confusion haunting me
Dragging me down into your depths
I still love you, as you do me
This confusing love
Griping my throat, wringing it free of its once peaceful song
Only broken shards of a heart remain in your hand
Strung together with a sense of hope
Barely audible, i sing to you
A song of peacefulness, depression, and a hallowed soul
Joined together, all believing we will make it through
One day your soul will discover love, yet again
And..hopefully, intertwine with my own
Perfect, in a way
Redoing our old figure, a distorted shape
With ends that did not connect
Shifted into a perfect circle
With not an end, nor a break
Everlasting, a life shared
Through it all a sense of blind happiness
For two uncompleted lines
Form a shape that cannot be broken,
A perfect circle
