I hear your heart call. (Sestina)

by Steven Beesley (c) published : 19 September, 2005

I hear your heart call :

I have been there;
again to venture once more,
where I find my heart wants to be.
To be so enraptured by love,
where I yearn to be once again.
You have woken me with your heart's call.

Your love beckons me with it's sweet call.
Soft words you whisper welcome me there.
My joy to love once again.
Loving tenderness with me once again.
The feeling of being in love,
no other place I would rather be.

I wish this state would forever be,
awaken everyday to sweet Love's call.
To joy and happiness of being so in love,
the warmth and sweetness that is always there.
Your love I want more and more,
to hold and kiss you again and again.

Arise each day with you beside me and loving me again.
You my soul mate, you will always be.
Our hearts entwined with each passing year even more.
I hear your soul, I hear it's call.
I will always be near, I will always be there.
Time shall never out live our love.

Stronger each day, grows our love,
no one else can touch my heart like you do ever again.
As your love will always be there,
the only one love that was meant to be.
Sweetheart, I will only hear you call.
Loving each day we share, each day that passes even more.

I will not ask or want for more.
You are the one, my only love.
Responding gladly to your every beck and call.
Time will pass but then again,
always with you is where I want to be.
You always care, you are always there.

Should I live again once more, I would still love you again.
My love you are always there, you will always be.
There is one love, to my heart you always call.
