It was just that kind of weather, where you could almost see your breath.

It was just that kind of weather, where you could almost see your breath.

With flowers for pockets, cows for shoes, and rocks for hearts, we were the picture of sympathy.

We belonged in big books about mental illnesses and scarification, bold letters and neon proclaiming

'SAVIOR.'

Touchdown. 56 to 0.
But it was still anyone's game.

*

The sky rolled by so quickly. If I could be so careless I'd check the coffee pot a million times and listen for the beep. All day. A few Asprin and the water was fine for floating. Maybe face down. If we were careful tomorrow we'd have matching clown frowns and star in our own movie called 'THAT.' Nobody would get it.

Maybe the sky would tell a sadder story tomorrow.
but it still wasnt your fault. And i still love you with all my heart.

There are many types of health that could be in need of recuperation. There is mhysical health, of course, and mental health and spiritual health. But my interpretation could be entirely off-base. S2 sounded like you were in robe and slippers. S3 seems an obvious link. The whole stanza with the aspirin...well... Anyway, glad to know I was wrong in this.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I wouldn't get the movie title either. This was quite different and I really liked the imagery you used--the focus on the weather and whether or not tomorrow would be better...or worse... I hope your health has improved!
