There is so much darkness in the world
come shine your light on all this misery
teach them sweet Lord they are forgiven
keep it shining for all the world to see
Show them as You have done for me
eternal life is waiting in your open arms
let them hear your sweet words of love
take them away from Satan's charms
Lord many people are beginning to listen
lost souls are coming home to Thee
faith in You is returning more each day
Christian's are singing in sweet harmony
So take joy my King in what you hear
they are singing praises just for You
take away their burdens and their sins
let them live their lives just and true
Your words are heard throughout the world
the Christians are spreading Your love
they will keep fighting Satan for You Lord
so keep shining your light from above
Bring peace and harmony to the world
instill your love in each girl and boy
the world needs you more then ever
now come fill their hearts with joy
